Training

Red Geographics offers training programmes for MAPublisher (1 day) or FME (1 or 2 days) for you, as well as a special 2-day Digital Cartography with Illustrator and MAPublisher course. Our trainers have a lot of experience using the software in a wide range of projects and through this training you can benefit from this experience.

Digital Cartography with Illustrator and MAPublisher
Currently this training is offered in Dutch in a class-like environment. A special on-site version in English is possible, please contact Red Geographics for more information.

MAPublisher training
This covers the basics of MAPublisher: importing data and assigning visual styles based upon attribute data, manipulating attributes, creating indexes, reprojection and working simultaneously with raster and vector data.

FME training
Since FME is such a versatile application, a training course generally focuses on a number of areas that are requested by the trainees. Subjects can include (but are not limited to) 3D operations, geometry manipulations, attribute manipulations, raster processing, batch functionality, building custom formats and custom transformers, database joins and FME Best Practices.

Training can be done both on-site and off-site. Are you located outside of The Netherlands? We are more than happy to travel to your location for a training course, provided there are enough participants. All training is offered in both Dutch and English.

Please contact Red Geographics for a detailed price quote or if you have any questions about the subjects of these courses.

A special form of training is delivered in the form of free tutorials. These are short articles that cover a particular problem in a certain software package. Currently, the following are available
