MRF Products

Overview

MRF Geosystems, from Calgary, offers a range of GIS/Mapping software products for different GIS environments. MRF GIS Mapping Tool Kit (MGTK) for GeoMedia, MRF Mapping Tool Kit (MMTK) for MicroStation, MRFCleaner for FME, MRF GISNet and MRF SVG Mapserver are widely used by over 6,000 users worldwide. These products provide GIS/Mapping functions such as GIS data cleaning, polygon formation, flag editing, buffering, and overlay analysis. In addition to that, MRF offers solutions for web GIS with their GISNet and Map Server products.

MRF GIS Mapping Toolkit for Geomedia

MRF GIS Mapping Toolkit is a multi-tolerance and multi-feature class spatial data processing and analysis software package. MGTK includes the following tools:

MRF Clean: clean one or more feature classes
MRF Clean SE: clean multiple data sets in batch mode
MRF Flag Editor: review and edit the features flagged by MRF Clean or MRF Polygon
MRF Polygon: create polygon feature class from one or more cleaned linear feature classes
MRF Polygon SE: create many polygon feature classes in batch mode
MRF CompoundConv: convert a compound feature class to the specified point, line, and/or polygon feature classes
MRF Overlay: integrate two input feature classes into a single one using spatial operators such as intersect, union, not, etc.
MRF Buffer: generate buffer zone from a point, line, or polygon feature class

MRF Mapping Tool Kit for Microstation

MRF Mapping Tool Kit is a multi-tolerance, multi-feature class, data analysis software package. This toolkit consists of:

MRF Clean: multi-level, multi-tolerance 2D data cleaner.
Clean 3D: multi-level, multi-tolerance 3D data cleaner.
Flag Editor: MRF Flag Editor (MRFFlag) is designed to be used in conjunction with MRF Clean, MRF Clean 3D, and MRF Polygon. It assists the user in identifying and editing the flags placed by the related MRF products.
Polygon: polygon formation package.
Buffer: multi-level, multi-tolerance MDL application for generating buffers based on user-selected input elements.

MRFCleaner for FME

The MRFCleaner transformer is an extra-cost plugin for FME, capable of fixing geometric problems in input data such as line overshoots and undershoots within the user-specified tolerance. It is useful for multi-layer and multi-tolerance two-dimensional data cleaning. Typical applications include the correction of utility maps, parcel maps, topographic maps and resource maps as data is migrated from one system to another.

MRF GISNet

MRF GISNet is a web-based solution that allows users to edit GIS features from their web browser. For more information, please visit map-server.com
