Requirements
A recent FME Professional beta (build 2143 and up, older builds may not be supported)
Installation instructions
Unzip the file and place it in My Documents\FME\Transformers. FME will automatically recognize it and place it in your transformers gallery.
Notes
This transformer replaces donut polygons (i.e. a polygon with a hole in it) with simple polygons, like this:

The resulting polygons retain all attributes of the original polygon. Non-polygonal and non-donut input features are routed to a NON_DONUT output port. As the sample shows, this works with polygons that have more than one hole in them. Nested donuts may not be supported.
Legal
This transformer is offered 'as-is', without any claims regarding its
usability. You are free to use it for any purpose you see fit. Any comments
are more than welcome, please use the
feedback form
